Description:This workshop module is designed for
the K-2 science teacher wanting to meet the standards for Life Science
through hands- on activities, literature, and technology. This course will
provide participants with a wealth of content information, a portfolio of
resources, pedagogical technologies, and activities to liven up science
lessons. Over the course of 6 weeks, participants will create a portfolio of
resources to be used in the final product for this module.
Pre-requisites: Learners participating in this course should have
reliable access to the Internet, ability to use email, a working knowledge of
a computer’s file hierarchy, and the ability to browse the Internet. This
course is appropriate professional development for science teachers,
technology specialists, curriculum specialists, or professional development
specialists.
