teachers, are using social networking on a daily basis. By bringing a social
network into your classroom, you will increase student engagement and
learning potential. The networks and tools to be addressed in this course
include Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, and TeacherTube |

Pre-requisites: This is an introductory
course for teachers, technology specialists, curriculum specialists,
professional development specialists, or other school personnel. Participants
are expected to have regular access to computers. In addition, participants
should be proficient with using email, browsing the Internet, and navigating
to computer files. High-speed access is preferred. |
